Welcome to the Florida Manatee Tours website We have been doing manatee tours for 17 years in the Crystal River area of Citrus County and are authorized by the Crystal River National wildlife Marine Sanctuary. This is the agency in charge of the manatee’s safety and general well being.
Our tours are operated with those safe guide lines dictated by this agency and all of our captains are licensed by the United States Coast Guard.
It is our goal to provide your with the best tour possible within those guide lines. We feel that our tours are not only fun and exciting but also it is an educational program geared to help educate the public on the plight of this amazing but endangered mammal the Florida Manatee. You will also find information on what you can do as an individual to help the manatee and its struggle for survival.
Based at our own Marina located at the Days Inn Resort in Crystal River, Florida, resort providing free wireless internet, you will also find a 24 hour Denny’s Restaurant and the cozy BUZZ Bar. They offer discounts to parties that have tours booked with us. (ask for details) You will also find that there are no shuttles, parking fees or the extra gas expenses to get to another location to board boat for your tour. This helps save you money. Once you arrive this means that your will not have to travel anywhere else either for food or relaxation and for your tour, you just walk out your door and onto one of our specially designed Coast Guard inspected snorkeling or diving vessels.
