    Below is a list of questions that we believe will help you in the process of learning about us and  help guide you easily through making a manatee tour reservation, plus getting directions to meet our  staff  before boarding our  Coastguard Certified boats.  Your  experience with the manatees, is  a fun exciting  trip for the young and  young at heart.


    Question: Where do you meet for the  manatee tours?

    Answer: Meet at our marina located behind the DAYS INN RESORT in Crystal River, 2380 NW Hwy. 19, Crystal River, FL 34428.  No Parking fees. You will not need to park on the side of the road right aways. We have parking for buses, motor homes and   18 wheelers.

    Question: What time are the  manatee  tours?

    Answer: The  Crystal River morning tour meets at 7:30am, leaving around 8:00am and returning around 11:30am. The second tour meets at 11:00am leaving around 11:30am and returning around 4:00pm. NOTE: Special times can be around for Private Tours. Call for details. 

    Homosassa  River  Manatee Tours  are 7AM and 9:30 AM Daily.       Meet at our marina, behind   the Days Inn Resort to checkin and pickup gear.

    Question: What kind of boats are they?

    Answer: We have many  pontoon boats for different size groups. Some boats hold 6 passengers, one holds 10 passengers and one holds 27 passengers.

    Question: Do I need a reservation?

    Answer: Yes. Reservations are required and can be made with a credit card along with name, address and phone number. Call us toll-free at 1-877-GO-DIVIN or make your reservations online at our site (click Shop Online link). Be sure to add the date your requesting under comments.

    Question: What is your cancellation policy?

    Answer: All trips are reserved with a credit card. We require seven (7) days notification if you wish to cancel a tour. We reserve the right to charge you for the entire tour on short notice cancellation (within 7 days).    All cancellations will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.

    Question: Why will I be charged a fee for cancelling?

    Answer: Our cancellation policies and fees are consistent with those imposed by airlines, car rental companies, and hotels. Because our fees are determined by space reserved on our boats, we require a minimum of seven (7) days notice to cancel in an effort to fill the spot cancelled.

     

    Question: Can you rent the equipment needed to snorkel with the manatee?

    Answer: Yes. We have a full line of wetsuits to fit 4 years old to adult sizes (to 350lbs). We also have masks, fins, snorkels and personal flotation vests. Scuba rental are also available for those individuals booked with us.

    Question: Are there bathrooms on the boats?

    Answer: Most boats are equipped with bathroom facilities. Some of our 6 passenger boats do not. These boats have marina access on the river and can dock for public bathroom use as needed. Anyone with special bathroom requirements should notify one of our representatives when booking a tour.

    Question:  Are  the boats heated?

    Answer: Our boats are heated by the sun, it is unlawful to use propane or any other  flameable liquid on a coastguard  inspected boat. There are those operators who advertise  heated boats to get your business, but it is not a safe practice . We serve hot coffee and hot chocolate to help warm you up.

    Question:   Is there a parking fee  or  close parking to our store  ?

    Answer: No parking fees  with our tours, we have ample parking even for  commercial tour buses, school buses and  motor homes. You will not need to park  on the side of the highways  right away.
